(CAN) - Cheshire Artist Network

CAN is a friendly, supportive network of a diverse range of visual artists and craftspeople. They aim to expand the opportunities for artists to develop their practice, make high quality work and run workshops.

CAN endeavour to engage with the community, providing individuals and groups the opportunity to access and enjoy their own creativity as well as increased access to view and enjoy CAN members work.

CAN activities include exhibiting art works across the community, nationally and internationally, and supporting the organisation and promotion of Cheshire Open Studios. Also running community and education workshops, and to provide networking and information sharing opportunities.

CAN are a legally constituted, not-for-profit, artist led organisation with around 55 selected professional members. It is run by a committee of voluntary members and administrator who meet regularly and disseminate information to the wider group. Members are selected on the basis that they are professional, contemporary, visual artists living and or working in Cheshire, with a track record of quality practice in the visual arts.
